Director of Quality Assurance

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of QA to lead the company’s quality assurance efforts. In this critical role, you will shape and execute the QA vision, implement cutting-edge automation and testing methodologies, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software across a complex, AI-powered product ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with R&D, product, and support teams to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and promote a quality-first culture across product and engineering teams.
• Lead the QA strategy and execution across all company products.
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks and QA processes.
• Oversee testing for web applications, data pipelines, and AI-driven services.
• Proactively identify and address quality gaps in both development and production.
• Ensure timely resolution of client-reported issues according to SLA commitments.
• Evaluate and introduce new QA technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA into the entire development lifecycle.
• Manage and mentor a growing QA team, fostering professional growth and high performance.

Team Structure:

You will lead a QA team that includes both automation and manual testers (5 members)

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a senior QA leader (Director/VP level) in fast-paced tech environments.
• Deep technical expertise in both manual and automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer, JMeter, etc.
• Strong background in SaaS platforms and microservices architecture.
• Expertise in unit, component, and end-to-end testing practices.
• Experience working in agile environments, using tools like Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
• Proficiency with JavaScript-based test frameworks and SQL for data validation.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to optimize QA processes and introduce innovation.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills with a collaborative mindset.

Work Model:

Hybrid – 3 days a week from the Tel Aviv office, 2 days remote.
