Job Description

Position Description:

Tax & Compliance Officer will be responsible for all DACAAR taxation issues and any other statutory reports required by the government

Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper deduction of taxes at source and deposit into Government Treasury within the prescribed time mentioned under Tax law.
• Preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly and annual withholding tax statements in accordance to country Income Tax law.
• Preparation and filing of Annual Income Tax Return of the Organization on the basis of information provided.
• Review and check Tax Computations for Employees , Rental , contractor and supplier when ever required.
• Prepare tax computation and make sure tax compliance.
• Review financial records and documentations needed to prepare tax returns.
• Calculate from preparation fees according to return complexity and processing time required.
• Check data input or verify totals on forms prepared by others to detect errors, data entry or procedures.
• In close coordination with the Stock Team proper handling the stock issues.
• Develop specific goals and plan for easy accomplishment of work.
• Coordinate with the Finance Coordinator (Treasury) for any assigned duty .
• When requires travel & conduct training for field Finance & Admin officers.
• The holder of this position must strictly follows the organization existing security policies, procedures and daily instructions of the safety personnel.

Job Requirements

Education/ Qualification and Employment Benefits

Education: Bachelor's degree of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance is required.

Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in (Tax & Compliance) with NGO is required .

Other Qualifications’ An Advantage

• Working experience as a tax & compliance position will be given preference.

Languages: Oral and written fluency in (English, Pashto and Dari)
