Infrastructure Engineer – Tel Aviv (Hybrid/Onsite)

I am looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer with a strong coding background to join a series B startup in Tel Aviv. This is a high-impact role where you'll design, build, and scale the core infrastructure powering a complex observability platform used across distributed environments.

What You’ll Do:

• Own and scale infrastructure – Design, build, and optimize the backbone of our observability platform to support seamless deployment across hundreds of distributed environments.
• Solve complex scalability challenges – Tackle real-world problems in multi-cluster Kubernetes environments, multi-cloud setups, and high-ingestion observability pipelines.
• Manage data at scale – Architect and optimize configurable data pipelines for ingesting, storing, and querying massive volumes of observability data with performance and reliability in mind.
• Automate everything – Develop infrastructure as code (IaC), enhance CI/CD processes, and automate provisioning to increase system reliability and reduce manual overhead.
• Enhance system reliability – Build robust monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms to support production at scale.
• Collaborate cross-functionally – Work closely with backend engineers, product teams, and even customers to deliver scalable, developer-friendly infrastructure solutions.
• Adopt cutting-edge technologies – Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating and implementing modern tools to improve scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Optimize deployment workflows – Refine Helm charts, Kubernetes operators, and Terraform configurations to streamline environment creation and lifecycle management.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering or DevOps roles.
• Proven background in startups – you know how to move fast, wear multiple hats, and build from scratch.
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong coding skills and experience building infrastructure through code.
• Experience with complex system architectures and distributed environments.
• Passion for automation and building scalable infrastructure platforms.
• Bonus: Experience with observability stacks (e.g., ClickHouse, VictoriaMetrics, OpenTelemetry).
