Java Team Lead

🚀 We're hiring a Backend Team Lead to join our dynamic R&D team in Tel Aviv!

We’re looking for a seasoned and proactive engineer with a passion for innovation, deep technical expertise, and at least 3 years of experience leading software developers.

🔹 What will you do?

• Own features end-to-end — from concept to production

• Collaborate closely with product teams to drive core capabilities

• Work with full-stack and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless workflow solutions

• Lead and mentor team members, and expand our tech toolbox

• Contribute to the architecture of large-scale, distributed systems

🔹 What we're looking for:

• At least 3 years of experience managing and leading software developers

• 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer with modern programming languages

• Proven experience building scalable systems using microservices architecture

• Strong coding skills and deep understanding of performance and concurrency

• Familiarity with source control and CI/CD tools

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science from a leading university or equivalent military tech unit

🔹 Nice to have:

• Proficiency in Java (Spring)

• Experience with Kafka, Cassandra, Redis, or Elasticsearch

• Docker & Kubernetes knowledge

• JavaScript/TypeScript familiarity

• Understanding of financial markets or financial services
