Mission

DoorLoop is seeking a strategic and hands-on Automation Lead to drive test automation across all squads. You’ll lead implementation, build and evolve test infrastructure, and ensure fast, stable, high-coverage releases.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cypress-based test automation strategy across squads
• Design and maintain scalable automation infrastructure (CI/CD, parallelism, uptime)
• Own infrastructure roadmap: identify needs, propose changes, and prioritize new capabilities
• Improve script reusability, test reliability, and execution speed
• Train and support QA engineers to adopt and scale automation
• Collaborate with R&D to shift-left test coverage and reduce manual regression time
  
  

• 4+ years in automation (Cypress/JS/TS) with team leadership or mentorship
• Proven experience in building and evolving test infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub), parallel test execution, and mocking
• Ability to define infra priorities, propose solutions, and collaborate with DevOps and QA
• Skilled at debugging async flows and flaky tests
  
  

• Experience applying the Test Pyramid (Unit → Component → E2E)
• Familiarity with Docker, feature flags, and cross-environment testing
• Background in SaaS platforms or property management system
