Cyber Security Analyst

We are a stealth-mode startup on a mission to secure cloud-based digital assets and enterprise systems. As we build out our core technology and team, we are seeking a Senior Software Developer who combines deep technical skill with strong leadership capabilities to drive product development and guide technical direction in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

This is a hybrid role for an experienced developer who is passionate about building secure, scalable systems and who thrives in a role that requires both hands-on coding and team leadership. You will take ownership of key product components, mentor peers, influence architecture decisions, and collaborate with cybersecurity experts to bring cutting-edge solutions to market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop core components of our cloud security platform.
• Lead complex technical projects from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts and product stakeholders to translate security insights into technical solutions.
• Drive architectural decisions and evaluate trade-offs in scalability, performance, and security.
• Establish development standards, code quality guidelines, and best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of learning and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with DevOps to optimize deployment pipelines and system reliability.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to cloud and security infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in backend development (e.g., Python, Go, Java, or Node.js).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts, IAM, encryption, and DevSecOps practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor within an engineering team.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience in cybersecurity, threat detection, or security automation.
• Prior involvement in early-stage startups or cross-functional product teams.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD tooling, and monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Vue) is a plus.
