About The Team

The technology research and incubation group at Fireblocks is a team dedicated to extending the capabilities of our product through cutting-edge deep research and rapid incubation of new ideas. We are a hands-on group of researchers and engineers that thrive on exploring roughly defined concepts and transforming them into tangible product validations, POCs, and research sprints that drive meaningful impact and shape the future of the Fireblocks platform and the ecosystem at large. It is a cross-functional team of extremely talented individuals that work separately and together to break barriers and create meaningful innovation.

What You'll Do

As an entrepreneurial developer within our team, you will play an important role by taking innovative exploration projects from concept to completion. This is a highly diverse and hands-on role where you will:

• Develop a deep understanding of the product to identify opportunities for innovation
• Brainstorm ideas and develop a thesis
• Conduct in-depth research and data analysis
• Code across different technology stacks
• Lead projects end-to-end, turning ambiguous concepts into clear, impactful results
• Work with product managers and engineers and consult from knowledge and research work, acting as a matter expert
  
  

• 5+ years hands-on software engineering and/or tech leadership (Backend required, Full-Stack preferred, Web3 highly preferred)
• Proven ability to self-start, understand product/tech, and deliver end-to-end results (we will want to see examples)
• Ability to learn new technologies deeply and quickly - no fear of unknown
• Deep expertise and enthusiasm/passion for blockchain technologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Specific skills that are an advantage: smart contract coding, mathematics beyond basics, AI/llm, data analytics
