A Digital Health startup is redefining how people see and hear the world. The company offers an innovative solution for the 75% of the U.S. population who wear eyeglasses and also require hearing assistance. They have developed unique prescription glasses with an elegantly embedded hearing aid within the frame, designed for individuals with mild to moderate hearing loss.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv, the company operates fully onsite and currently employs 35 people.

Two years ago, it was acquired by a large international corporation, becoming its dedicated technology arm, with strong financial backing. The team collaborates globally with clinical researchers and scientists and is at a critical product development stage, preparing for a 2025 launch.

Role Overview-

The role is part of a 2-person team, reporting to the Group Leader. Responsibilities include developing firmware in C/C++ on top of FreeRTOS, targeting ARM-based processors.

Requirements-

5 years of hands-on experience in C/C++ development – mandatory
Experience working with RTOS – mandatory
Experience with microcontrollers – mandatory
Familiarity with SPI, IPC, UART – advantage
Experience writing Python scripts – advantage
Experience working with ARM-based processors – mandatory
Background in developing low-power / battery-operated devices – strong advantage
Relevant academic degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
