Product Engineer

Role Description

The Product Engineer at Aero Magnesium is the central professional liaison between the customer and the
company's production, engineering and quality departments. He is responsible for supporting products from
the engineering requirements stage to delivery, while providing technological solutions, a deep understanding
of machining processes, and meeting the high quality requirements in the magnesium field.

Job Responsibilities

• Analysis and understanding of engineering drawings and customer requirements

• Translation of customer needs into engineering documents and customized manufacturing processes

• Definition of appropriate machining processes

• Ongoing support for customers on engineering and technical issues

• Preparation of product portfolios: BOMs, technical sheets, work instructions, Quotes

• Collaboration with production, quality and development departments to streamline processes

• Monitoring the production of first series and providing instructions for necessary improvements

• Handling engineering faults and customer support

• Participation in quality tests and product approvals

• Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards and customer requirements

• Documentation and implementation of engineering changes throughout the product life cycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Materials / Industrial Engineering and Management – ​Required•

Previous experience working with machining processes – Required•

Experience working with Defense industries – A significant advantage•

Experience working with customers and understanding engineering needs – Required•

Proficiency in drafting software (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Inventor) – Required•

Understanding and experience in reading technical drawings at a high level•

Proficiency in technical English – Required•

Ability to work independently and in a team, good interpersonal communication, mental flexibility
