FULL-STACK DEVELOPER 

Full Time, No salary. Equity only (up to 5%).

We’re building Folo.travel (www.folo.travel) — our beta is live, rough, unfinished. However, we're testing, learning, and iterating fast. And we want to move even faster.

Before applying, go through the product: see where we are, what we’re about, what’s missing, what needs improvement, and what the next steps might reasonably be.

We will drill you on this. On what you saw in the beta. On what you think should change. And most importantly, on why you want to build this project, not just any project. We’re looking for someone willing to die on this hill with us.

This is high-speed, no-safety-net development. We sometimes push changes twice a day. Feedback comes in, decisions are made, code ships — same day.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building features end-to-end in React (TypeScript) and Node.js
• Writing responsive CSS for a smooth, usable interface
• Designing and querying relational databases with SQL
• Developing modular APIs and working with microservices
• Managing your code with Git
• Troubleshooting and solving tough technical problems independently

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Solid understanding of the DOM
• Comfort working across the full stack
• Experience designing relational schemas and writing complex SQL
• Ability to work with limited structure, take ownership, and move quickly
• Curious, independent, relentless when facing unknowns
• Excited to research and adopt new tools when needed

Advantage If You’ve Worked With

• Web crawling, scraping frameworks, or bots
• WebSockets or other real-time tech
• Animations, drag-and-drop interfaces (DND Kit or similar)

Bonus If You’re Familiar With

• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD workflows
• AWS (EC2, VPC, EKS, etc.)
• AI models, search algorithms, large-scale data handling
• Unit testing, ORMs, or database modeling tools
