The Role
We're seeking a driven Account Manager to drive growth and retention of JoVE subscriptions within higher education institutions in Israel. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships while identifying new opportunities to expand JoVE's business. The ideal candidate is results-driven, with a proven ability to deliver value to customers and achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales and renewal targets through effective strategic account management and customer success initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with academic and research institutions in Israel, focusing on academic librarians, faculty members, and researchers.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive growth in the region.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful subscriber journey, from onboarding to successful implementation of JoVE solutions.
- Represent JoVE at local conferences and events, showcasing our innovative products and services.
Requirements
- 5+ years in sales and/or customer success roles
- Proven track record of growing and maintaining business
- A Bachelor’s degree is required; a scientific background is preferred
- Fluency in Hebrew and English is required
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- A self-motivated individual with a passion for taking initiative and ownership of their role.
- Willingness to travel, approximately 5 days per month.
