Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Webz.io is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join us.

This is a hybrid position involving both manual and automated testing (50/50), focusing on web applications and API testing.

Responsibilities

• Designed and executed manual and automated test cases for web applications and APIs.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks for both UI and API testing.
• Ensure product quality through functional, regression, and usability testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers.
• Provide feedback on product design with a strong understanding of user experience.
• Take ownership of QA processes and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in QA, with at least 1-2 years in automation.
• Hands-on experience with web UI automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
• Experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST-assured, or similar).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Familiarity with performance or security testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
