Junior Controller

About The Role

• Participation in our monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process and reporting in a Nasdaq-traded company
• Ensure and adhere to compliance with corporate guidance, procedures, and policies
• Collaborate and liaise with the external audit team during the interim reports reviews and annual audits
• Monitoring and reviewing the accuracy of financial data
• Documentation of internal controls (SOX)
• Assist in the preparation of the statutory financial statements and the tax returns.
• Implementation and documentation of new accounting standards (IFRS)
• Assist with special projects as required.
  
  

• CPA with a minimum of 4 years of experience (post-internship).
• At least one role as an assistant controller outside the audit firm ( in a publicly traded company- significant advantage).
• Vast experience with IFRS accounting standards. ( US GAP- an advantage).
• Team player who, not afraid to “roll up their sleeves” and build, design, and implement procedures and processes from scratch.
• Willing to work long hours.
• Experience with Priority, SAP B1, or NetSuite ERP systems - an advantage.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with analysis, and vast knowledge of the consolidation of companies.
• Detail-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
