We are looking for a highly talented Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join our unique Embedded team of building all the Embedded products that are part of Applied Materials systems.

What you'll be doing:

• Plan, design and implement software of our future devices and features.
• Your software will be aware of HW on one hand, and will integrate with high-level SW on the other hand (Using modern protocols such as GRPC)
• As a member of this core team you will make important technical decisions to ensure the scalability and performance of our applications through code and solid architecture, while being surrounded by a strong technical team
  
  

• Linux user-space experience - Must.
• 2+ years of experience in SW development in C/C++.
• A degree in Computer Science, Electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree.
• Team player as well as being able to take full ownership and work independently.
• Strong debug capabilities, self-learning skills, ability to deep dive into unfamiliar areas.
• Advantages: Embedded experience, OOP experience (C++, Python), Knowledge and experience with OS-internals (IPC, context switching, etc…), Working with virtual environment (Kubernetes / containers).
