We are seeking a Product Manager who is passionate about technology, deeply understands customer needs, excellent communication skills and had proven capabilities to take new products to market. This individual will work closely with prospects, customers, sales, and R&D teams to help shape and position our products in the market.
Position Overview:
As a Product Manager at Edgehawk, you will play a central role in bridging product, engineering, sales, and customer success together. You will lead inbound activities such as gathering customer requirements, refining product features through user stories, as well as outbound activities including enabling pre-sales engagements, creating product demos, and supporting marketing and go-to-market strategies. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our solutions address real customer pain points and stand out in the competitive cybersecurity landscape.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to influence both product direction and customer success.
Inbound Product Management:
- Engage directly with customers, prospects, and partners to gather insights and translate them into clear product requirements and user stories.
- Prioritize and manage the product roadmap based on business impact, customer value, and technical feasibility.
- Work closely with engineering to ensure successful execution of features and enhancements.
- Analyze user feedback, product usage data, and competitive trends to drive continuous product improvement.
- Define success metrics and work with analytics and support to measure feature adoption and product performance.
- Collaborate with the sales team in pre-sales engagements by providing deep product knowledge, participating in product demonstrations, and leading technical discussions.
- Support and sometimes lead Proof of Concept (PoC) efforts, ensuring prospects understand how Edgehawk’s solutions address their technical and business needs.
- Train sales, support, and marketing teams on product capabilities, value propositions, and differentiators.
- Create and maintain product documentation, demo environments, and sales enablement content.
- Participate in webinars, events, and customer briefings to represent the product.
- Be the voice of the customer within Edgehawk, ensuring their needs and pain points are reflected in product strategy.
- Collaborate with customer success and support teams to understand and resolve product-related issues.
- Build strong relationships with key customers to validate ideas and gather ongoing feedback.
- Partner with engineering, design, and QA to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
- Work on messaging, product launches, and market positioning.
- Provide feedback to leadership on product vision, market trends, and opportunities for differentiation.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, technical pre-sales, or a customer-facing technical role, preferably in the cybersecurity or networking domain.
- Experience with DDoS mitigation, traffic analysis, or network security products is a strong advantage.
- Strong technical foundation in networking and cybersecurity concepts, with the ability to engage with technical stakeholders and engineers.
- Experience managing B2B cybersecurity or infrastructure products.
- Understanding of Kubernetes/Containers and modern cloud-native architectures is a plus.
- Ability to turn customer problems into structured product requirements and user stories.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, design, and executives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a startup environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally for customer meetings, events, and product rollouts.
