Position’s general overview
Media buyer will fill a Sales Position to actively manage OMS’s new client portfolio. This person must possess strong analytical skills; including the ability to negotiate under pressure and at a high pace and achieve targets, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable items to close a deal.
This individual will be engaged in many levels of planning, execution and analysis. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, flexible yet focused individual who maintains a positive attitude, learns new things quickly and thrives in a fast paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
● Prospecting and creating leads of potential Publishers
● Recruit Publishers (Websites( to work, buy and manage their inventory, evaluating possible deals, organizing and launching sales strategy and up-sale of new products, with focus on Publishers of English-speaking countries as well as worldwide
● Define and identify key performance metrics and report on them daily, weekly and monthly
● Present reports/analyses (in person or electronically) that contain valuable, actionable insight to a wide range of team members, from entry-level to senior executives, as well as to publishers
● Up-sale of company products with the goal of increasing revenue growth by identifying new opportunities
● Maintain knowledge of media technology, supply side platforms, buy side platforms and analytics tools
● Maintain contact with the Account Managers team to ensure the Publishers attention
Qualifications
● Strong sales oriented
● Analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven recommendations
● Expertise in Microsoft Excel, the ability to create charts and graphs based on data analysis
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Must be highly organized with excellent follow-through
● English language proficiency at VERY HIGH level: both written and verbal
● Must demonstrate the ability to communicate the big picture and drill down to supporting details
● Excellent ability to multi-task and close attention to detail a must
● Strong judgment skills; ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
● Capacity for decision making
● Natural curiosity and desire to continuously learn, discover, and open to test new ideas
