We are seeking an experienced Director of Platform to lead our core Platform Group, a strategic part of the R&D organization responsible for the infrastructure and foundation of our flagship cybersecurity product. The group consists of three autonomous teams, each led by a team lead and composed of skilled engineers. This role involves close collaboration with Product, QA, and other R&D departments to drive innovation, scalability, and delivery excellence.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of team leads, including performance reviews, feedback sessions, and personal development planning.
• Ownership of resource management, planning, and execution of the group’s roadmap in alignment with product goals.
• Leadership of cross-functional initiatives to improve delivery, quality, and engineering practices.
• Strategic collaboration with R&D leadership on architectural and organizational decisions.
• Fostering a culture of technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and innovation.
• Close day-to-day collaboration with QA, Product Management, and Infrastructure teams.
  
  

• 5+ years of experience managing team leads or R&D group managers
• Proven track record in planning, prioritization, and execution of engineering work at scale
• Strong background in infrastructure/platform engineering and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with technologies such as React, Node.js, Go, Kafka, MongoDB, Redis, MinIO, gRPC, and the EFK stack
• Experience with on-premise environments and complex production systems
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to align teams around shared goals
  
  

• Background in cybersecurity or defense industries
• Experience with advanced CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Familiarity with observability and operational excellence best practices
