About The Team

At Redis, we see our internal development platform as more than just tooling — it’s a product that helps our engineers move faster and build better software. As part of the Platform Engineering team, you'll help support and improve the systems that Redis developers use every day. From our build systems and CI/CD pipelines to our cloud infrastructure and internal tools, this team is essential to how Redis delivers great products.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with engineering teams to help improve development workflows and automation tools.
• Learn and help maintain our CI/CD pipelines and build systems.
• Support our cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.).
• Help improve monitoring, alerting, and security for our internal systems.
• Contribute to infrastructure as code tools and configuration management.
  
  

What You’ll Need

We don’t expect you to know everything — we’re looking for someone curious, eager to learn, and excited about DevOps and platform engineering. You should have:

• 1+ years of experience (internships count!) in DevOps, infrastructure, or cloud environments.
• Basic programming or scripting experience.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Some hands-on experience with tools like Docker, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible.
  
  

Bonus Points If You Have

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working with build systems (e.g., CMake, Make).
• Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration tools like Helm or ArgoCD.
