Junior R&D Engineer - Dental Implant Technology

Key Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical parts and assemblies for dental implant systems based on functional specifications
• Develop creative engineering solutions that balance functionality, reliability, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness
• Present designs at technical review meetings during concept and detailed design phases
• Define and execute verification and validation test procedures, ensuring compliance with medical device standards
• Author comprehensive R&D documentation including design requirements, strength calculations, tolerance analysis, and risk evaluations
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure designs meet production requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for existing product lines

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
• 1-2 years of experience in engineering (recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
• understanding of mechanical product design principles
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including mechanics, kinematics, and materials science
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Technical writing and communication abilities
• Good command of English (reading, writing, and speaking)

Advantages:

• Knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements for medical devices (ISO 13485, FDA)
• Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
• Familiarity with production processes such as CNC machining and injection molding
• Previous experience in the dental or medical device industry
