Software Engineer

A cybersecurity startup in the “Secure & Insure” domain is developing a unique solution aimed at protecting small and medium-sized businesses from cyberattacks. The company operates through Managed Service Providers (MSPs), who deploy its product across their customers’ devices, cloud environments, and email services.

The startup offers active, enterprise-grade cybersecurity protection against phishing, ransomware, data loss, and more. In addition, it provides an extra layer of business protection through cyber insurance with low premiums, in collaboration with leading global insurance partners.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv (next to a train line), the company offers a hybrid work model with two days of remote work per week. The team consists of 70 employees, including 50 in Israel and 20 in R&D, with plans to double the R&D team during the year.

Founded in 2022, the company has raised a $30M Series A round led by top-tier VC firms.

The role involves working collaboratively as part of a development team. The company primarily develops in Node.js, with additional components in Python, and approximately 20% frontend work using React. The technology stack includes Google Cloud Platform (GCP), PostgreSQL, Pub/Sub, Redis, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements-

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• At least 1 year of experience in the email security domain (a big advantage).
• Experience working with large language models (LLMs) and their applications in security.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js; experience with React is an advantage.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
• Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis, message queues, and distributed architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines with experience in implementing automated deployment and testing processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
