JOB SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Portfolio Performance Analyst with a strong background in Finance or Investments to join our expanding Data team based in Tel Aviv. In this role, you will lead performance analytics across our portfolios, translating data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, analyze complex financial data to identify weak spots and surface opportunities, and support active portfolio management. Your ability to blend analytical depth with business judgment will be key to our continued growth

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Lead portfolio performance analytics to uncover trends, investigate weak spots, and generate validated, data-driven recommendations
• Conduct hands-on analysis to explore underlying data, perform root cause analysis, and surface weaknesses, opportunities, and actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Develop structured analytical models (e.g., performance, segmentation, prioritization) to guide portfolio actions—distinct from predictive or ML models
• Partner with the BI team to translate insights into scalable dashboards, once the analysis is vetted and aligned
• Work closely with the Data team to validate assumptions, resolve data nuances, and ensure consistency across sources and methods
• Proactively identify new areas of analysis beyond current dashboards, bringing forward fresh, actionable insights
• Lead internal performance reviews, crafting clear narratives and presenting insights to executives and cross-functional teams
• Serve as the analytical expert in business discussions, grounding strategy in data and challenging assumptions where needed

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or a similar role, preferably in Finance or Investments. 
• Proven experience in analyzing data, identifying patterns and root causes, and supporting business decisions with data-driven insights.
• Curious & critical thinking mindset is key to success in this role.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and SQL and; experience with Python for analysis is a plus
• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Excellent communication skills; fluent in English (written & spoken).
• Asset and portfolio management experience is an advantage.
• Self-sufficient, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership. 
• Passionate for uncovering insights and presenting data in impactful and clear ways.
• Academic degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
