A leading financial services company in Israel, specializing in payment solutions, is seeking a Head of Sales Operations to lead and manage the company’s entire sales division- with full responsibility for the sale of all company products and services.
This is a key leadership role that combines team management, recruitment and training of sales professionals, strategic planning, target setting- and hands-on participation in high-level sales activities with key clients.
Role Responsibilities:
- Dual-role position: A strategic leadership role combined with active fieldwork- managing the sales team while also taking part in direct sales.
- Full responsibility for the sale of all company products and services, aligning with client needs and driving company-wide growth.
- Direct sales leadership: Managing end-to-end sales processes including meetings, negotiations, and deal closures with corporate clients.
- Recruitment and training: Leading the hiring, onboarding, and development of top-tier sales professionals.
- Growth infrastructure: Developing sales work plans, setting and tracking targets, analyzing performance, and driving data-driven decisions.
- Reporting and insights: Building performance reports in Excel, analyzing trends, and presenting actionable insights to senior management.
- Client success and retention: Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and identifying expansion opportunities.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Support, and other internal teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, including 2–3 years in a managerial role- mandatory
- Background in financial industries (fintech, credit, insurance, banking)- an advantage
- Experience in recruiting, training, and managing sales teams- mandatory
- Proven track record in building and executing sales plans and setting measurable goals- mandatory
- Advanced Excel skills- including building reports and data analysis
- Strong ability to present reports and insights to senior management
- Entrepreneurial mindset, high sense of ownership, leadership, and strategic thinking
- Experience managing complex processes with corporate clients
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Position Details:
- Full-time position
- Location: Central Israel | Includes nationwide travel for client meetings
- Reports directly to the CEO
- Strategic role with real business impact and decision-making influence
