Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled High-Frequency Algorithmist with strong proficiency in C, C#, and Python programming languages. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and deploying high-performance trading algorithms designed for ultra-low latency trading environments.

You will collaborate closely with traders, data scientists, and quantitative analysts to build and enhance sophisticated algorithmic trading strategies that drive profitable trading performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and implement high-frequency trading (HFT) algorithms in C/C#/Python.
• Optimize and fine-tune algorithms to maximize performance, reduce latency, and enhance profitability.
• Analyze trading data, market conditions, and trading performance to continuously improve trading strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quantitative analysts, traders, and infrastructure engineers.
• Ensure code quality, stability, and scalability of algorithmic trading software.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and actively participate in code reviews.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and system improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in high-frequency trading and algorithmic strategy development.
• Strong proficiency in C, C#, and Python programming languages.
• Familiarity with exchange protocols and APIs (e.g., FIX, WebSockets, REST APIs).
• Deep understanding of high-frequency trading methodologies, market microstructure, and latency-sensitive systems.
• Experience with real-time market data handling and order execution systems.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act pragmatically.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts.

***Important: Ability to issue invoices and accept payments in Israel as an independent contractor or freelancer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in crypto or forex markets is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques applicable to algorithmic trading.
• Knowledge of low-level networking, hardware acceleration, and performance tuning advantage.
