One of our clients, an innovative cybersecurity company (appsec), is looking to hire a VP of Marketing to spearhead their global marketing efforts. (More details about the product will be given to relevant candidates.)

Startup / 15 employees / reporting to the CEO

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and lead a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
Drive demand generation and performance marketing initiatives.
Oversee and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
Manage external vendors and coordinate end-to-end internal marketing activities, including campaigns, events, outbound initiatives, website management, marketing automation, SEO, and social media.
Conduct market research and analysis to uncover growth opportunities and address challenges.

Requirements:

Experience in a senior marketing role (VP / Director) within the cybersecurity industry, with a strong preference for Application Security (AppSec) experience.
Proven success in customer acquisition, demand generation, and data-driven marketing strategies.
Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities.
Highly collaborative and team-oriented, able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Excellent English communication skills — both written and verbal — are a must.
