Algorithm Developer

The Missile and Space Systems Division is looking for an Algorithm Developer.

What you'll be doing:

• Development of detection, target tracking, and line-of-sight estimation algorithms for a variety of RF and electro-optical sensors
• Sensor and measurement fusion from multiple sources
• Development of navigation capabilities based on imagery and radar signals
• Defining and assisting in the preparation of test scenarios, simulation tools, and databases for verification, as well as designing validation experiments
• Formulating algorithmic alternatives and solutions for detection and tracking in noisy environments, and implementing them in MATLAB/C++/Python
• End-to-end testing and support during field trials
• Optimization using machine learning tools

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree (BSc) in engineering or exact sciences – mandatory
• Master’s degree (MSc) – an advantage
• Familiarity with estimators, including Kalman filters – mandatory
• Experience in sensor fusion – strong advantage
• Solid knowledge of statistics and probability – mandatory
• Strong analytical skills, self-learning ability, motivation, and good interpersonal skills – mandatory
• Experience with navigation solutions – an advantage

The position is based at our new center in Haifa. Attendance at the center is required during the onboarding period, and afterward, one day per week.
