R&D Team Leader

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Hands-on R&D Team Leader to lead the development efforts for our innovative FirstPoint product. In this role, you will guide a team of developers, contribute directly to the codebase, and play a key part in taking our product to the next level, supporting the company's overall growth and success.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage an R&D team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Engage in hands-on development using Full Stack technologies (JavaScript frameworks, HTML/CSS, databases).
• Architect, design, develop, and maintain core components of the FirstPoint product.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, Customer Success and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables.
• Ensure the team adheres to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Drive technical innovation and contribute to the product roadmap.
• Support and troubleshoot issues within cellular network environments (4G/5G).

Mandatory Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer (minimum 6 years) with expertise in JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js).
• Deep knowledge of core components and interfaces in cellular networks (4G-5G).
• Proficiency in multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript).
• Solid experience working with databases (both SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills – a true team player.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring development teams.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English

Advantages (Preferred Qualifications):

• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and challenges in both Web Applications and On-Prem solutions.
• Experience working within an Agile development process.
• Familiarity with Kafka messaging systems.
• A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
• A creative and analytical mindset for problem-solving.
• BA or MA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.

Optional Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience with C++.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure).
