FPGA Manager

The Missile and Space Systems Division seeks a visionary FPGA Manager to lead our talented team.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage a department of 7 employees, including FPGA development engineers, verification specialists, and defense system experts.
• Lead system-level architecture design for verification and logic planning.
• Mentor, guide, and support the professional development of department staff.
• Develop testing methodologies, including simulators and complex control systems.
• Establish and implement advanced development procedures, including IP design and methods for creating generic content.
• Conduct research and development in FPGA and hardware cybersecurity with new technologies and their implementation.
• Collaborate with engineering departments in areas such as hardware, systems engineering, infrastructure software, and application software.
• Maintain interfaces with business unit managers and operational/support departments.
• Define and manage work plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Guide and manage subcontractors in logical design.
• Recruit, develop, and retain staff.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in logic design for embedded systems – mandatory.
• Experience in managing a development team – mandatory.
• Proficiency in hardware description languages such as VHDL – mandatory.
• Experience with simulation tools such as Modelsim – mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with Xilinx/Altera components – mandatory.
• Experience in testing and integrating complex systems involving firmware, hardware, and software – mandatory.
• Experience with ARM-based components (e.g., MPSOC, HPS) – an advantage.
• Experience with soft-core CPUs like NIOS/MicroBlaze – an advantage.
• Familiarity with design verification tools such as Questa – an advantage.
• Experience in developing electronic boards in the embedded domain – an advantage.
• Knowledge of communication technologies, especially Ethernet – an advantage.
