Leading Insurance Company is Hiring a Senior Data Scientist

Job Overview:

• Machine Learning (ML) Problem Identification and Definition: Understanding business needs and operations across various organizational units, identifying opportunities to implement ML-based solutions.
• Establish Complex Data Structures: Designing and implementing advanced data infrastructures to support model development and utilization by business units.
• Advanced Data Analysis: Utilizing advanced data tools to perform in-depth analyses and developing analytics to address business challenges.
• Development, Validation, and Implementation of Statistical Models: Creating statistical models, validating their accuracy and relevance, explaining models in business terms, deploying models in production environments, and performing post-implementation validation.
• Visual Data Investigation: Using BI tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI to visualize data and insights.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering & Management, or other relevant fields.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist, capable of leading end-to-end projects, including model development, deployment, maintenance, and monitoring in production environments.
• Proven experience and expertise in performing complex SQL queries on large-scale databases.
• Advanced Python skills, including experience with libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, scikit-learn, Seaborn, Matplotlib.
• Knowledge of Statistical Models (ML): In-depth understanding of models such as Boosting, Random Forest, GLM, XGBoost regression, Clustering, PCA, and SVM.
• Deep Learning Familiarity: Including experience with libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, understanding of neural networks, CNN, RNN, and LSTM – significant advantage.
• High Analytical and Technical Capabilities: Ability to analyze complex problems and propose data-driven solutions.
• Systemic Thinking and Process Understanding: Initiative-driven, systemic perspective, and capability to understand complex processes.
• Experience in Financial Organizations: An advantage.
