Full Stack Team Lead

About The Position

Stampli, a B2B SaaS and FinTech innovation leader, is seeking a full-stack Team lead.

You will lead a team of 5-6 strong, dedicated full-stack developers and work on Stampli’s core platform to create an amazing user experience and data-driven technology.

You will have the autonomy to make technical decisions and support other developers.

You will work on exciting new technologies with the latest best practices.

What You Will Do

• Lead a team of full-stack developers building Stampli’s core applications
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers, fostering their growth
• Architect and make hands-on technical decisions for backend (Java + AWS) and frontend (React/Angular) components
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code—setting the bar for code quality and review practices
• Collaborate with Product to prioritize features, estimate work, and keep projects on track
• Innovate by identifying pain points and driving small or large improvements in our codebase and processes
• Motivate the team daily, ensuring alignment, removing blockers, and championing best practices
  
  

• 5+ years developing applications in Java and AWS services
• 5+ years working with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular/AngularJS)
• 3+ years of experience leading full-stack teams in a fast-paced environment
• Proven track record delivering large-scale, production-grade cloud systems
• Deep understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, clean coding, and code reviews
• Experience designing and developing database models (Cloud-based NoSQL/DynamoDB)
• Self-motivated “startup” mindset: proactive, adaptable, and committed to rapid iteration
• Excellent problem-solving skills and sound technical judgment
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and a strong motivation to integrate them into daily workflows. Utilize AI tools daily (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Tabnine, etc.) to improve code writing efficiency, generate tests, refactor code, and assist in documentation and code review processes.
