About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Development Team Leader—someone who thrives in code as much as they do in guiding and growing a team.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of technical direction while actively contributing high-quality, production-grade code.
• Lead by example—mentor developers through code reviews, pair programming, and architectural guidance.
• Manage a small but growing development team with a focus on excellence, speed, and collaboration.
• Design and build scalable backend systems (Node.js) and modern, interactive frontends (React).
• Integrate and maintain complex data solutions across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate closely with product and leadership to deliver features that drive real user value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading R&D or engineering teams in a hands-on capacity.
• 4+ years of professional development experience, with deep expertise in both frontend and backend work.
• Proven ability to architect and build scalable systems using Node.js, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Strong foundation in asynchronous programming, system design, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience working in dynamic environments—ideally in startups or growth-stage SaaS companies.
• A leadership style that combines technical rigor with empathy, transparency, and a bias for action.
