Research Grants Manager – 3429

Responsibilities

• Manage several teams responsible for initiating and supporting the preparation of R&D projects for the European Union, industry (domestic and international), research foundations, and government ministries in Israel and abroad.
• Expand externally funded research activity, promote new initiatives, and foster international collaborations with research institutions and industry.
• Provide end-to-end support for researchers preparing grant proposals for a variety of funders in Israel and worldwide.
• Serve as the primary contact for funding bodies, strategic partners, and multiple internal interfaces.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in science or engineering – an advantage.
• Proven managerial experience and effective teamwork skills.
• At least five years of experience initiating R&D projects for the EU, industry, research foundations, or government ministries in Israel and abroad.
• Significant advantage: experience preparing EU research proposals and coordinating European consortia.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and present research programs and projects to senior industry leaders and funding bodies in Israel and overseas.
• Established working relationships with industrial companies, universities, and R&D funds in Israel and abroad.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills that foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
• Strong grasp of technology and science.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-interface setting while meeting tight deadlines.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
