The Manufacturing Engineer is an integral member of the Manufacturing Engineering Team, a part of the multidisciplinary Engineering department.

We are seeking a technically proficient and meticulous individual to drive our manufacturing processes' development, maintenance, and enhancement.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Owner of specific manufacturing workflows, including all related process documentation for shop floor use and resolution of process-related issues raised during production.
• Lead and perform technical investigations related to manufacturing processes, initiate and implement corrective actions.
• Support the design, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes.
• Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of the manufacturing facilities and equipment.
• Perform and implement continuous improvement activities using lean tools to reduce costs, improve quality, increase efficiency, and improve material flow.
• Supports process validation activities.
• Support transfer of new products from development to production.
  
  

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical engineering or other manufacturing-oriented engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in the medical device / pharma / process industry, manufacturing engineering – a strong advantage.
• Experience or relevant knowledge of medical device manufacturing is desired, with a focus on manufacturing equipment, assembly processes, and process control.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, creation of process flows, process maps, work procedures, and forms.
• Knowledge in serial production, quality control, risk assessment, and process validation.
• Good interpersonal and technical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (Hebrew, English).
• Must be able to interact well with peers and supervisors/managers in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work on multiple projects in a matrix environment.
• Quality and detail oriented, experience in NCRs and CAPAs management (an advantage).
• Good knowledge of MS Office, CAD programs (Solid Works), SAP/Agile systems (an advantage).
