Full Stack Development Team Lead

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Full Stack Team Lead to join our cybersecurity R&D team. In this role, you’ll lead a team of developers while staying hands-on with design and implementation of key system components.

You’ll take ownership of end-to-end development across the MERN stack, guide architecture and technical decisions, and collaborate closely with security experts to build scalable, secure, and impactful solutions. The role blends leadership, mentorship, and strong engineering skills — with a focus on microservices, CI/CD, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), performance, and UX-driven development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, development, and delivery of complex full stack features in an ongoing project.
• Architect scalable backend services using Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Oversee and contribute to modern frontend development using React (Tailwind/Shadcn is a plus).
• Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure, primarily in AWS.
• Write infrastructure and automation scripts in Python, Bash, or Node.js.
• Maintain and optimize MongoDB and/or SQL databases.
• Ensure high standards for code quality, security, and performance.
• Support and guide developers with code reviews, architecture decisions, and technical challenges.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on development experience in full stack roles.
• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring developers.
• Strong backend expertise in Node.js (JavaScript and TypeScript).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or Node.js).
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
• Solid understanding of Docker and containerized environments.
• Experience with MongoDB, SQL, and database schema design.
• Frontend proficiency using React (Tailwind/Shadcn experience is a bonus).
• Strong architectural thinking and system design skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kubernetes or orchestrated container environments.
• Familiarity with Azure, GCP, or multi-cloud setups.
• Understanding of Cybersecurity concepts or SIEM engines.
• Background in queue-based systems at scale (e.g., Kafka, SQS).
