Technical Project Manager - UAE (Relocation)

CONTROP-UAE is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate the company’s technical activities abroad, with a strong focus on knowledge transfer processes. The role includes involvement in pre-sale activities, providing technical support for ongoing projects, and managing a team of technicians working directly with the end customer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering aspects of the knowledge transfer project
• Supervise and guide technical teams to ensure optimal task execution
• Provide technical support for existing projects
• Oversee and support pre-sale processes

Requirements:

• Willingness to work in the UAE for at least 3 years
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering: Electro-Optics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or Physics
• Proven experience (5+ years) in managing technical projects within defense or complex technology companies, preferably with international clients
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in pre-sale technical support, including demos, responses to RFIs, etc.
• Fluent in English
• Broad systems and engineering understanding – experience in electro-optics, defense systems, or multidisciplinary systems is a strong advantage
• Previous experience in relocation or working in an international environment – significant advantage
• Experience in managing technical/engineering teams – an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal skills, independent working capabilities, and ability to manage multiple interfaces simultaneously
