Experienced Supplier Quality Engineer

You will

• Evaluate supplier performance (local and worldwide), conduct audits and implement quality improvement initiatives to achieve exceptional product reliability and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain close communication with operational material managers and logistics regarding the complaint process.
• Collaborate with the global system integration supply chain team
• Organize returns or corrections with suppliers and maintain detailed 8-D reports.
• Analyze supplier quality status, identify trends, and derive improvement measures.
• Conduct the complaint process for externally sourced components/materials.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field - Must
• Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) - Advantage
• 3+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering– Must
• Knowledge in the manufacturing of electronic or mechatronic components – Advantage
• Experience  in the medical/security/semiconductors industry – Advantage
• Experience in reading complex assembly and individual part drawings, specifications, and standards – Advantage
• Experience in use of quality tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, PDCA) – Advantage
• Fluent English (read, write & talk) - Must
• Experience in collaborating with German corporations and/or proficiency in the German language – Advantage.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001) – Advantage
• Willingness to travel abroad 3-4 times a year .
