Data Center Engineer

My client, a Technology business, are looking for Data Centre Technician for a year contract.

The budget for this role is looking around the $50 per hour.

This role requires the person be occasionally on site in Yokneam

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with rack, stack, and installation of data center equipment.
• Troubleshoot common data center issues and manage tickets.
• Act as a Level 1 administrator for data center problems.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of on-premise large-scale data center experience, including infrastructure support (power, space, cooling, equipment).
• Strong skills in rack and stack, cabling, and cable management.
• Experience troubleshooting networking, ideally with Supermicro/Dell/HPE servers, Infiniband fabric, Mellanox, and Arista switches.
• Attention to detail, independent thinking, and problem-solving.
• Solid UNIX (Ubuntu/RedHat) administration skills, including monitoring servers and identifying disk failures.
• Break/fix server expertise.
