Corporate Financial Controller

On behalf of one of our clients — a publicly traded global industrial company with revenues in the hundreds of millions of dollars and operations across multiple regions. The company develops, manufactures, and sells premium infrastructure products

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Corporate Controller to join our executive finance team. This role is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s global accounting, reporting, and compliance functions. The Corporate Controller will ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, manage the audit process, and support strategic business decisions through financial insight. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 12 finance professionals across various disciplines, including accounting, reporting, and tax.

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process and ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and internal controls (SOX compliance if applicable).

• Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors and manage the annual audit process.

• Partner with the CFO and other senior executives to provide financial analysis and insights that support strategic decision-making.

• Continuously improve processes, systems, and controls to drive efficiency and scalability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally, including legal, tax, operations, and R&D.

Requirements:

• CPA certification – mandatory

• Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior controllership or finance leadership role.

• Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm – required

• Proven experience in a public international company.

• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, financial reporting, and corporate compliance.

• Strong leadership skills and experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization.
