As a Senior Frontend Engineer on our Gamification team, you’ll take a crucial role in building engaging, high-quality user experiences that drive interaction and long-term user motivation. You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering partners to craft intuitive and scalable interfaces. As a senior engineer, you’ll contribute to technical strategy, set high standards for frontend development, and help grow the team’s capabilities through mentorship and collaboration.

What you’ll do as a Senior Software Engineer

• Contribute to the development of complex, user-facing features using React and modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build engaging and intuitive gamification systems.
• Architect scalable frontend systems with a strong emphasis on performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Implement reusable components and design patterns that support rapid iteration and long-term scalability.
• Continuously improve the frontend codebase by identifying areas for optimization, refactoring, and modernization.
• Write and maintain high-quality unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Provide technical mentorship to teammates and contribute to code reviews, documentation, and team knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed on emerging frontend technologies and advocate for the adoption of tools and techniques that improve developer experience and product quality.
  
  

• 4+ years of experience in Frontend Engineering, with deep expertise in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of performance optimization, responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience working closely with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and how to effectively integrate them into frontend applications.
• Comfortable working in cloud-based environments with tools like AWS and Docker (basic familiarity is sufficient).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs in UI/UX design and implementation.
• Experience collaborating in agile teams and mentoring other engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Experience working on gamification features or consumer-facing products with high user engagement - an advantage.
