Operations Manager

A large organization in Tel Aviv is seeking an Operations Manager.

Position Description:

A combination of office-based management and hands-on fieldwork, responsible for managing the department's non-medical resources, leading service improvement processes, promoting projects, coordinating logistical and operational interfaces (maintenance, construction, renovations, cleaning, etc.), and providing ongoing support to teams caring for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Departmental Resource Management: Management of medical equipment, general supplies, budgeting, maintenance, and improving the work environment.
• Coordination and Supervision of Operational Projects: Leading projects aimed at improving service quality and departmental efficiency.
• Management and Onboarding of Paramedical Teams and Volunteers: Overseeing roles such as phlebotomists, service coordinators, and more.
• Promoting Analytical Processes: Identifying failures, tracking quality metrics, generating reports, and conducting monitoring and control activities.
• Liaison and Coordination with Logistical Support Units: Serving as a point of contact between the department and logistical support services within the organization—maintenance, medical engineering, cleaning, security, and more.
• Implementation of Procedures and New Work Routines: Ensuring the application of procedures and the adoption of new work routines in accordance with departmental policies.
• Emergency Response Role: Acting effectively during emergencies.

Requirements:

• Relevant academic degree – Mandatory.
• Advantage for candidates with a clinical degree or background (Health Sciences, Paramedic) or fields like Industrial Engineering and Management.
• Previous experience in operational management or a similar role.
• Experience in a large and well-known healthcare organization.
• Knowledge and understanding of the medical or clinical field – Advantage.
• Strong planning, organization, and multi-interface coordination skills.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to drive processes.
• Proficiency in information systems and report analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within an intensive team environment.
• Full availability during emergencies.
