Role Description

This is a full-time position for a supervisor of item writing for a CEFR aligned English proficiency assessment. The job is hybrid with work in our Jerusalem office and from home. The job will involve managing a staff of writers and reviewing their work. You will also participate in the test development process.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of the CEFR framework and English proficiency levels
• Minimum 3 years experience in item writing
• Previous experience reviewing assessment items
• Masters degree or equivalent in English, Linguistics, English Education, or related field
• C2 Level English Proficiency
• High level of comfort using various technologies
• Strong interpersonal and managerial skills
• Ability to manage delivery timeline with a team of writers
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent standards
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
