Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a SecOps / DevOps Engineer for a leading company in Gush Dan!

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented engineer to lead the integration of advanced security practices within cutting-edge DevOps environments. The role involves:

• Implementing robust security practices across the machine learning model lifecycle
• Automating processes while ensuring high standards of data protection
• Securing inter-system communications and real-time threat monitoring
• Applying security controls in highly distributed and data-intensive environments
• Embedding modern security methodologies into DevOps/Infrastructure workflows
• Working with Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps / SecOps / ML Ops roles
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and Python (scripting, CLI tools, webhooks)
• Proven experience with IaC tools, especially Terraform
• Proficiency with at least one cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Deep understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, WAF, NACLs, Security Groups
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud security and monitoring tools (e.g., GuardDuty, Azure Defender, Chronicle)
• Strong security mindset — offensive and defensive thinking, vulnerability assessment, and service hardening
