QA Engineer

By backporting security fixes and creating fully compatible versions of open source packages, Seal enables security teams to apply patches independently of R&D involvement. This approach decouples security fixes from feature upgrades, centralizes the replacement of all vulnerable package instances across all CI pipelines, and automates and scales the vulnerability remediation processes.

We are looking for a Manual QA Tester to take ownership of the quality assurance process across our vulnerability remediation platform— ensuring stability, accuracy, and a seamless experience for our users.

This is a hands-on role focused on application and platform-level testing, with an emphasis on structured workflows, user-facing features, including APIs, CLI commands, and UI-driven behavior. You’ll work closely with engineering and product to simulate real user flows, validate end-to-end functionality, and ensure the platform behaves reliably across scenarios.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, providing detailed reports to the development team.
• Collaborate closely with developers to understand product functionality and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform regression testing and maintain testing documentation to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Provide feedback from a QA perspective to improve product quality.
  
  

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Postman.
• Experience with Linux environments - advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with *attention to detail*.
• Strong communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree - an advantage.
