Financial Controller (Temporary)

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Financial Controller to join us in a temporary role and take ownership of our monthly and annual closing processes. This position is part of a global AdTech company and will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in compliance with US GAAP
• Prepare and review standalone and consolidated financial statements
• Manage accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Coordinate and support external audits and communicate directly with auditors
• Oversee tax, VAT, and statutory reporting in Israel and other locations
• Partner with FP&A and other stakeholders to provide financial insights, variance analysis, and budget tracking
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and help improve accounting policies and processes
• Collaborate with Legal, Sales, and HR to ensure accurate financial data
• Support ad-hoc financial and operational projects, including system/process improvements

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as Assistant Controller or Controller in a global company
• Internship at a Big Four firm, preferably with high-tech clients
• CPA qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on ERP experience
• Proactive, organized, and independent, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
