Mechatronics Engineer

Xtend Robotics is looking for an experienced Mechatronics Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time

position, based on-site at our office in Rechovot.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Master's degree in Mechatronics or a related field (bonus).
• Proven experience in designing and developing mechatronic systems (required).
• Proficiency in programming languages (C/C++, Python) and control systems (required).
• Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and communication protocols (required).
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electronic schematics (required).
• Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken (required).
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to a multidisciplinary work environment.
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
• Hands-on experience in robotics, automation, and electromechanical systems development (required).
• Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with electrical engineers, software developers, and production specialists to design, develop, and refine mechatronic systems, robotic components, and motorized systems.
• Integrate mechanical, electronic, and computer engineering components for cohesive product development.
• Program and manage control systems across various microcontrollers and embedded platforms.
• Perform simulations and conduct performance tests to ensure optimal design and functionality.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
• Develop technical documentation, including schematics, user guides, and testing reports.
