Back End Developer

Startup company in the Fintech field rebuilding legacy banking systems from the ground up into cloud-native platforms.

Founded this year in partnership with one of Israel’s largest banks and backed by ₪240 million.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, employs 67 people, and operates a hybrid model with one work-from-home day.

Role: Work as part of the development team, reporting to the team lead.

Tech stack: AWS, Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB.

Responsibilities-

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Node.js and TypeScript
• Build and manage databases to ensure optimal performance and data integrity
• Implement best practices for coding, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, both independently and in collaboration with the team
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes

Requirements-

• 5 years of hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and databases
• Strong knowledge and understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns
• Familiarity with AWS services and other cloud technologies is highly advantageous
• Experience with version control systems
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
