Test Equipment Department Manager - 3371

A Project company in the hardware field is looking for a Test Equipment Department Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Ongoing management of production processes from planning through delivery to the customer.
• Building work plans and performance goals, while ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Managing production teams, including recruitment, training, and performance leadership.
• Process improvement and workflow optimization.
• Responsibility for quality control and compliance with strict manufacturing standards, including AS9100 and ISO9001.
• Working with suppliers and subcontractors in manufacturing, wiring, and assembly.
• Providing real-time solutions to technical and operational issues.
• Interfacing with defense clients, understanding their requirements, and adapting production accordingly.

Position Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in production/operations management in the military/defense/electronics sector – mandatory.
• Experience managing production teams and leading complex operational processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field – advantage.
• Familiarity with defense standards and relevant regulations – significant advantage.
• Ability to work across multiple interfaces with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Priority ERP systems – significant advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and solve problems in real time.
