Deep Learning Engineer

A leading Algo Trading company and one of the largest in the field in Israel, publicly traded and operating in global markets.

The company builds large-scale, intelligent trading systems powered by advanced technologies, AI, and deep statistical and financial expertise.

The role is part of the Data team and involves developing, training, and optimizing Deep Learning models for financial market prediction, trade execution, and autonomous decision-making processes.

The company’s tech department includes 30 professionals. Offices are located in central Tel Aviv (Rothschild area, easily accessible by light rail and with parking available). This is an on-site position.

Responsibilities-

• Develop, train, and optimize deep learning models for financial market prediction, trade execution, and decision-making.
• Analyze large-scale market data (tick-level, order book, and alternative data) to uncover alpha signals and trading opportunities.
• Collaborate with traders, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate models into live trading systems.
• Continuously monitor model performance, adapt to market conditions, and propose enhancements.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the latest academic and industry research in deep learning and quantitative finance.

Requirements0

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Solid experience building, training, and deploying deep learning models using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and CUDA.
• Deep understanding of machine learning fundamentals: optimization, regularization, generalization, and overfitting in real-world data.
• Experience with time-series modeling, sequence prediction, or reinforcement learning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
