Project Manager Scrum Master

A leading startup company developing command and control systems for smart cities.

The company's platform collects real-time data from sensors, license plate readers, and city cameras, and transforms it into actionable insights.

The role involves leading Agile processes, supporting the development team, and acting as a liaison between the team and other stakeholders in the organization.

The company is located in Netanya and offers a hybrid model with one work-from-home day per week (a shuttle is available from Netanya Sapir train station to the high-tech park).

During the first three months, full on-site presence is required.

The company currently has around 20 employees in Israel, is growing significantly, and has well-established operations with major, well-known clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Agile Practices and Facilitation:
• Lead Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring productive discussions and clear outcomes.
• Coach the team on Agile practices to enhance collaboration, self-organization, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure the sprint backlog is prioritized and well-defined in collaboration with the Product manager.
• Team Support and Development:
• Identify and remove non-technical impediments to ensure the team remains focused and efficient.
• Encourage open communication and provide a safe space for team members to raise concerns or share ideas.
• Foster cross-functionality within the team, enabling members to collaborate and share knowledge effectively.
• Collaboration and Alignment:
• Act as a bridge between R&D and other departments, such as Product and QA, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities.
• Facilitate coordination with other teams to manage dependencies and maintain a smooth workflow.
• Advocate for the needs of the R&D team, ensuring they have the resources and support required to succeed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Scrum Master or in software project management
• Extensive hands-on experience with Jira
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams
