Nayara.ai is an early-stage health tech startup pioneering AI-first solutions to radically improve outcomes for the 4M+ breast cancer patients and survivors in the U.S. and beyond. We're building a cutting-edge AI companion that works across WhatsApp, web, voice, and SMS.

We’re now looking for a Medical Advisor with deep clinical expertise in breast cancer care to guide our product and ensure that every conversation we build is medically sound, emotionally attuned, and clinically meaningful.

This is a unique chance to shape the future of breast cancer care at the intersection of medicine, AI, and empathy. You’ll work alongside our product, engineering, and content teams to validate and refine our clinical guidance and ensure our platform reflects gold-standard oncology care.

We're looking for a practicing or former oncologist, breast surgeon, senior oncology nurse, nurse practitioner, researcher, or pharma medical lead with 5+ years of experience in the field of breast cancer. Whether you’ve provided direct patient care, overseen clinical trials, or worked on patient education in pharma—you’ll help ensure our platform delivers trusted, evidence-based support.

• Validate clinical content across the platform (symptoms, treatments, side effects, etc.)
• Ensure AI-generated responses align with top oncology guidelines (NCCN, ESMO, ASCO)
• Collaborate on chatbot prompt design, patient communication flow and care pathways
• Advise on patient needs during diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship
• Support and help oversee research initiatives and collaborations with hospital partners
• Contribute to clinical strategy and expansion roadmap

• Has 5+ years of experience in oncology, breast cancer research, or clinical practice
• May be an oncologist, breast surgeon, nurse practitioner (oncology), clinical trial investigator, or pharma medical expert
• Has worked within the U.S. healthcare system and understands the patient/provider dynamics, treatment pathways, and system navigation
• Has experience working directly with breast cancer patients or designing interventions for them
• Passionate about digital health and closing the patient support gap
• Can bridge the gap between clinical accuracy and patient-centered communication
• Is excited about transforming cancer care and making a real impact
• Comfortable working for equity and delayed compensation in the short term

• Experience leading or participating in clinical trials
• Background in medical affairs or patient engagement at a pharma company
• Familiarity with LLMs, health AI tools, or conversational agents
• Experience working with diverse or underserved patient populations
• Previous involvement in patient education or behavior change interventions

This is a remote, flexible part-time advisory role, with room to grow. We welcome candidates based in Israel, the U.S. 

Equity and/or honorarium available, depending on level of involvement and expertise. Strong preference for candidates based in or with significant experience in the United States healthcare system.
