Software Engineering Team Lead

We’re seeking a self-motivated Software Engineering Team Lead with a strong sense of ownership and exceptional communication skills. In this strategic leadership role, you’ll guide and support a team of engineers, helping them tackle complex challenges while fostering collaboration across product, data science, business stakeholders, and other development teams. Your focus will be on enabling the team to deliver high-impact, seamless experiences that delight our customers.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

• Guide your team through the full lifecycle of our production applications — from business requirements, system design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, to maintenance
• Support and mentor engineers to help them grow in their careers and write high-quality, maintainable code
• Foster platform thinking to help the team maintain strong engineering velocity and deliver scalable solutions
• Ensure the team meets service SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs by promoting operational excellence and reliability best practices
• Play an active role in hiring and onboarding exceptional talent, helping to grow a high-performing, collaborative team
  
  

• Proven experience leading engineering teams, with a focus on collaboration, mentorship, and delivering results
• 6+ years experience developing production, performance critical applications
• Great understanding of cloud native architecture and trade offs
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience
• Experience shaping and driving engineering processes, standards, and best practices across teams
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus
